How to check remaining coverage on a VIN
- Find the 17-character VIN on the plate at the driver's side of the dashboard, on the driver-side doorframe label, or on the registration and title.

- Read the in-service date from that record and measure the 3-year/36,000-mile and 5-year/60,000-mile terms forward from it, not from the model year.
- Check the odometer against both mileage caps, since each coverage ends at whichever limit arrives first.
- On a Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, ask separately about the high voltage battery term, which depends on whether the vehicle was originally sold in a TZEV state.
Does the warranty transfer to a second owner?
Stellantis states that the FCA new vehicle limited warranty stays with the vehicle and is transferable to the second owner, and Mopar confirms the 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty transfers too, so a used Chrysler carries the balance of its factory coverage to you.
