Ram Window Sticker by VIN

The official route to an original Ram Monroney label, what federal law requires it to show, and where the trail runs out for older vehicles.

By VIN Lookup Research DeskPublished 2026-08-27Reviewed 2026-08-27United States
Factory configurationA window sticker shows how the car was built, not what happened to it.

It carries original MSRP and factory options — no title, damage, or odometer history.

Direct answer

Ram hosts original Monroney window stickers on its own server. Append your 17-character VIN to the ramtrucks.com window sticker URL and the factory PDF opens directly, at no charge and with no sign-in. In our August 2026 testing this returned genuine labels for 2019 and 2024 trucks; older vehicles are less reliably archived and may need a dealer lookup instead.

How to get a Ram window sticker by VIN

  1. Find the 17-character VIN through the windshield on the driver's-side dashboard, on the driver's door-jamb label, or on your title, registration or insurance card.
  2. Open https://www.ramtrucks.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin= and type the VIN immediately after the equals sign, with no spaces or dashes.
  3. Press Enter. Ram's server returns the original Monroney label as a PDF showing the base price, every factory option and the as-built total for that truck.
  4. If a short notice appears saying the window sticker cannot be retrieved, the label is not in the online archive. Ram also shares this system with Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler, so the same URL pattern works on those brand domains.
  5. For anything the archive will not return, ask a Ram dealer's parts or service desk to pull the VIN from the Stellantis dealer system, or check the buyer's order in your purchase folder.

What to know before you look

  • Recent model years are the most reliable. Testing real VINs in August 2026, 2019 and 2024 Ram 1500 trucks both returned complete labels; availability thins out on older trucks, and there is no published cutoff year.
  • On a truck the label matters more than usual because it names the exact drivetrain and equipment packages: engine, axle ratio, cab and bed configuration, tow package, payload and GVWR-related content, individual option prices, destination charge and EPA figures where applicable.
  • A window sticker is not a build sheet. The Monroney is the federally required consumer price label from the dealership glass; a build sheet is the internal assembly document of RPO and sales codes, without prices.
  • The sticker only describes the truck as built. It carries no accident, title, odometer, lien, recall or aftermarket-modification information, which is a real gap on work trucks that may have been upfitted after delivery.

What a window sticker cannot tell you

  • Anything that happened after the car left the factory: accidents, title brands, odometer history, or liens.
  • Whether the options listed are still fitted, or still work.
  • The current market value — the MSRP shown is the original suggested price for that model year.
  • Whether open safety recalls apply to this vehicle; that is a separate VIN check.

Quick answers

Ram window sticker questions

Can I get a free Ram window sticker by VIN?

Yes. Ram serves original window sticker PDFs from ramtrucks.com by VIN at no charge, with no account or email required. Recent model years are the most reliable; if the archive has no record you will get a short 'unable to retrieve' notice.

Does the Ram window sticker show the original MSRP?

Yes. The Monroney label lists the base price, every factory-installed option with its individual price, the destination charge and the total manufacturer's suggested retail price exactly as printed when the truck first reached the dealership.

How do I check what options my Ram truck came with?

Pull the window sticker by VIN from ramtrucks.com. It lists standard equipment and each factory option package by name, which is the fastest way to confirm whether a used truck really has the tow package or trim level advertised.
