Can I get a refund for unused pack credits?
The refund policy does not state a refund for unused pack credits. You can ask for a review through the contact page, and the credits do not expire.

The current refund policy does not state a refund for unused pack credits. Its eligible-request list covers a duplicate charge, a report that was not delivered, a report that cannot be opened after reasonable troubleshooting, and a delivered VIN that differs from the confirmed checkout VIN because of our error. Unused credits are not on that list, so any request is a review, not an entitlement.
- Nothing in the published policy promises money back for credits you simply did not use.
- You can still send the request through the contact page — the policy sets out how to ask for a review and states that it does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
- Unused credits are not on a clock: the packs are one-time purchases and the credits stay on the order until you use them.
What the policy does list
The eligible-request section names four situations: charged more than once for the same order, the report was not delivered, the report cannot be opened after reasonable troubleshooting, or the delivered VIN differs from the confirmed checkout VIN because of our error. A leftover credit is none of those.
The policy also states that once a custom report has been generated and made accessible, purchases are generally final except where required by law or where an eligible delivery or billing issue applies.
Why leaving credits unused is not the same as losing them
A pack is sold as report credits that stay on your order until you use them, with no subscription and no expiry pressure attached. If your plans changed, the credits are still there for the next car you look at, which is the position the product is built around.
Three credits cost $29.99, which is $10.00 per report, and five cost $44.99, which is $9.00 per report — so an unused credit on a pack represents that per-report amount, not the full $14.99 single-report price.
How to ask for a review anyway
Use the contact page with the checkout email, the order ID, the VIN ending in the last six characters and a description of the issue. Never email full payment-card details. The published response target is two business days.
Say plainly how many credits are unused and why you are asking. The policy explains when it can review a request and does not limit non-waivable consumer rights; it neither guarantees a review for this case nor commits to an outcome.
What this does not cover
- No refund outcome is promised anywhere on the site — the policy describes review, and this page cannot say what a review will decide.
- The policy does not describe partial refunds for part of a pack, so do not plan around one.
- Consumer rights that cannot be waived in your state or country are unaffected by any of the above.

Frequently asked questions
Do unused credits expire while I decide?
The pack is described as one-time credits that stay on your order until you use them, with no subscription and no expiry pressure. Nothing in the path that spends a credit tests a date, so a credit does not expire; the one dated thing checkout creates is the seven-day guest order link, and signing in with the verified checkout email reattaches the order and its balance after that.
If part of the order is refunded, do I lose the reports I already have?
A partial refund is recorded as an amount and does not by itself change the order state. Access is removed when the order is recorded as fully refunded.
Can I trade unused credits for something else?
No. There is no conversion, credit-transfer or store-credit mechanism in the product; a credit can only be spent on a VIN from the order that bought it.
What if the reports I did use came back nearly empty?
The policy says data availability varies by vehicle and an empty category does not by itself make a delivered report defective. Coverage limits are published before purchase.
