How do I see how many credits I have left?

A pack order page shows a counter reading remaining of total, and your dashboard shows a REPORT CREDITS tile totalling unused credits across orders.

Answer

Two places show it. On the order page you reached after paying for a multi-report pack, the report wallet carries a counter reading remaining of total, with a row underneath splitting them into delivered, in progress and unassigned; a single-report order has one credit and shows that report’s delivery status instead of a wallet. If you signed in, the dashboard shows a REPORT CREDITS tile labelled “Unused vehicle checks”, which adds up the unused credits across every order on your account.

  • The wallet counter reads “N of M” and is mirrored in a plain-English summary line.
  • The dashboard tile totals unused credits across all of your orders, not just one.
  • A credit already assigned to a report in progress has left the unassigned column, even though no PDF exists yet.

Reading the wallet counter

The wallet headline states how many credits are ready, and beside it sits the counter: a large remaining figure over “of” the total you bought. Under that, a summary line says one of three things — “No VIN assigned yet”, “N of M credits still available”, or “All report credits assigned”.

The three small labels under the progress bar break the pack down further: how many are delivered, how many are in progress, and how many are still unassigned. In progress means a credit is held while the provider request runs.

The dashboard tile, for more than one order

If you bought more than once, the order page only ever shows one order. The dashboard solves that: its REPORT CREDITS tile, subtitled “Unused vehicle checks”, sums the remaining credits across every order on your account, beside a READY REPORTS tile and a count of purchases.

Below the tiles, every order is listed, and each pack carries its own wallet, so you can see which one still has credits and spend from that one directly; a single-report order shows its current delivery status in place of a wallet.

When the counter reads zero

Once every credit has a VIN, the wallet replaces the form with a single line: all credits are assigned, and ready reports stay available from that order and your account. Trying to assign one more returns “Every credit in this pack has already been assigned.”

A zero can also mean something else. A balance is reported as spendable only while the order is paid and its entitlement active, so an order awaiting payment confirmation, refunded, or paused by a dispute shows zero with an explanatory line in place of the counter.

Steps

  1. Open the order page from your payment confirmation, or sign in to the dashboard.
  2. Read the counter: remaining over total.
  3. Check the delivered / in progress / unassigned split before assuming a credit is unused.
  4. If the number is zero unexpectedly, read the line above it — it names the reason.

What this does not cover

  • A spendable balance is only reported for an order that is paid with an active entitlement; unpaid, refunded and disputed orders report zero remaining.
  • The dashboard needs a signed-in, verified account. Without one, use the order link, which lasts seven days from checkout.
  • The counter tracks assigned credits, not delivered reports — a credit held for a report still being prepared is already out of the unassigned column.

Frequently asked questions

Does a report still being prepared count against my balance?

Yes. The credit is held as soon as you assign the VIN, so it moves out of unassigned and shows under in progress until the report is delivered.

Why does my balance show zero right after paying?

Credits become spendable only once the payment is confirmed server-side. Until then the wallet reads “Report credits pending payment” and asks you not to submit another payment.

How do I see the balance across several packs at once?

Sign in and open the dashboard. The REPORT CREDITS tile totals unused credits across every order on the account, and each pack still shows its own wallet below.
