Why are my reports locked until my email is verified?

My Reports only loads for accounts with a verified email. Restart the secure sign-in for a fresh six-digit code - no new account or purchase is created.

Answer

Because an unverified session is treated as having no library at all. The server only returns orders and reports for an account whose email address has been verified, so until that happens My Reports shows a verification card instead of your purchases. Press 'Restart secure sign-in' on that card to receive a fresh six-digit code; no new account and no new purchase is created.

  • Verification is what proves the mailbox belongs to you before a private library opens.
  • Restarting the secure sign-in sends a new code and creates nothing new.
  • Use the same address you used at checkout, or the purchase will not appear.

What the lock is protecting

Orders and reports are keyed to an account, and the account's claim to them rests on its email address matching the payer email. If an unverified session could read that library, anyone who typed your address into a sign-in form would see what you bought. So the server resolves a user only when the email is verified, and an unverified session receives an empty library - not a partially masked one.

The dashboard reflects that directly: instead of your reports it renders a verification card explaining that reports stay locked until your email is verified, with buttons to restart the secure sign-in, contact support, or sign out.

How to clear it

Press 'Restart secure sign-in'. That signs the current session out and returns you to the sign-in form pointed back at My Reports, so a fresh six-digit code is emailed to the address you enter. Enter the code and the library loads, with your orders, any unused report credits and the original PDFs.

Enter the same address you used at secure checkout. A verified account with a different address is a valid account, but the purchase will not attach to it. If the code does not arrive, check the spam folder and request a new one rather than creating a second account.

Steps

  1. Press 'Restart secure sign-in' on the verification card.
  2. Enter the email you used at secure checkout.
  3. Open the six-digit code in that mailbox and enter it.
  4. Check spam before requesting another code.

What this does not cover

  • Verifying an address that was not used at checkout will not reveal that purchase.
  • While you are locked out of the dashboard, the browser you paid in can still open the report for 7 days.
  • Restarting sign-in ends the current session; you will need the new code to get back in.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Will restarting sign-in create a second account or charge me again?

No. The card states plainly that no new account or purchase is created; it signs you out and sends a fresh verification code.

I verified my email but My Reports is still empty. Why?

A verified account only shows purchases made with the same email address. If you paid with another address, sign in with that one instead.

Can I read my report while the account is unverified?

Yes, if you are still in the browser you paid from - its private access lasts seven days from purchase.
