Can I close the page while my report is being prepared?
Yes. Once payment is confirmed, the order page itself says you can close it: the secure report link is emailed when the report is ready.

Yes. Once payment is confirmed and the report is being prepared, the order page says it in so many words: you can close this page, and the secure report link is emailed when it is ready. Preparation runs on the server, not in your browser, so nothing stops when the tab does. The report page repeats the same commitment while it waits, and the finished report stays in My Reports.
- Closing the tab cancels nothing; the report job runs server-side.
- The emailed link, the order page and My Reports all lead back to the same report.
- While payment is still being confirmed, the page asks you to wait rather than start another payment.
- Save the order page link or sign in, so you can return even without the email.
What the page tells you, and when
There are two different notes, and they mean different things. While the payment is still being confirmed, the live note says the page updates automatically from the verified payment status, and the heading asks you not to submit another payment. Once payment is confirmed and the report is collecting or preparing, that note changes to: you can close this page, we will email the secure report link when it is ready.
The private report page carries the same commitment while it waits — it will also email the secure report link when delivery is complete — and adds that no estimated time is shown until the real report is ready.
How to get back to it
Three routes survive a closed tab. The report-ready email links straight to the report and to a download. My Reports lists every order, unused credit and ready PDF for a signed-in account whose verified email matches the one used at checkout. And the original checkout browser can still open the order and the report directly while its temporary private access is active.
If none of those works — another device, another browser, or a sign-in address that differs from the one typed at checkout — the order page says plainly that if you already paid, nothing is lost and you should not pay again, and points you at signing in with the checkout email.
| Route back | Works when | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Report-ready email | The checkout address was correct and reachable | Direct links to view or download |
| My Reports | You sign in with the verified checkout email | Every order, credit and ready PDF |
| Same browser | Its temporary private order access is still active | The order page and the report |
| Support | None of the above works | Help using the order reference |
Steps
- Wait for the note that says you can close the page.
- Save the order page link or its reference before closing.
- Sign in with the exact email you used at checkout.
- Watch the inbox for the secure report link.
- Do not start a second payment while you wait.
What this does not cover
- The email goes to the address collected at checkout, so a typo there sends it somewhere you cannot read.
- Report access is deliberately private, so the link will not open for someone who cannot pass the same access check.
- No delivery time is promised, so “when it is ready” is not a scheduled moment.

Frequently asked questions
Does the report stop if my phone locks or my connection drops?
No. The page only asks the server for the current state; the work itself happens server-side, and the report-ready email is queued and retried independently of your browser.
Do I need an account to come back later?
It is the most durable route, and the only one that lasts. My Reports requires signing in with the verified email used at checkout. The emailed links carry no access of their own, so without an account they open the report only from the browser you paid in, and only while that browser still holds its private access — created at checkout and lasting at most seven days.
Can I close the page during the payment-confirmation step too?
The product only invites you to close once payment is confirmed. Confirmation is completed server-side with the payment provider rather than by the page, but while it is pending the page asks you to wait and, above all, not to submit another payment.
