VIN Lookup adds the private delivery experience around the report; it does not remove provider branding, rewrite findings or strip the NMVTIS consumer disclaimer.

Reading a category that comes back empty
The site keeps four result states apart: record found, no record returned, not covered, and source unavailable. No provider sees every repair, cash transaction or jurisdiction, so a non-match is not proof that an event never occurred, and a coverage gap is never converted into an all-clear result.
Use the report to reduce uncertainty, then verify the physical VIN and title documents and arrange an independent pre-purchase inspection before you send money.

Frequently asked questions
Does the report show the previous owner's name or address?
No. Vehicle-history results show non-personal event information such as dates, states, use types and transfer counts only when law and source agreements allow it. Owner names, addresses and contact details are not returned.
Does an empty accident section mean the car was never damaged?
No. Unreported repairs and events can be missing from every database. A blank category means no covered record was returned, not that nothing happened.
Is a pack credit report different from the single report?
No. Every credit unlocks the same complete provider report format as the single-report option, with the same sources and coverage labels.
Is the free VIN decode the same thing?
No. A decode reads the factory identity encoded in the VIN. Title, damage, odometer, theft, lien, ownership and sales history come from separate sources and are not established by the decode.
