Which email address will my report be sent to?
Your report link goes to the email on the completed payment — your verified account email if you were signed in, otherwise the one you type at checkout.
Check the review date and linked sources for context. Live availability, prices and record coverage can vary by VIN, source, jurisdiction and time.
The report link is emailed to the address on the completed payment. If you were signed in with a verified account, that verified email is passed to the payment page for you, so it is the address on file. If you checked out as a guest, it is the email you typed on the payment page. Your order page shows that address masked under “Delivery email” so you can confirm it.
- The delivery address is whatever email the confirmed payment carries, not a separate field on our site.
- Signing in first pre-fills your verified email as the customer on the payment page, but that page owns the final address: if the confirmed payment carries a different one, that address receives the report and the order is no longer linked to your account.
- Your order page shows the address masked, so you can check it without exposing it.
Signed in versus paying as a guest
When you are signed in and your account email is verified, checkout passes that email and your name to the payment provider as the customer, which removes repeat typing and lets your account own the order straight away. Guests are fully supported and get no assumed identity: their email is collected on the payment page and linked to the order only after payment succeeds.
Either way, when the payment is confirmed we store the payer email from that payment as the order's delivery address, and it is the address the report-ready email is sent to when the PDF is ready.
Where to check the address we have
Your order page lists a masked “Delivery email” alongside the vehicle, masked VIN, payment total and order reference. Only the first characters and the domain are shown — for privacy the full checkout email is never displayed back to you, including on the screen that links an order to an account.
The report-ready email itself points to two routes: the secure report link, and My Reports for anyone signing in with the same verified email used at checkout. If the message has not arrived, the report is not lost — it stays reachable from your original checkout browser and from My Reports. A send that fails for a transient reason is retried automatically on a growing backoff — up to eight attempts by default — before it is recorded as failed; a send rejected as permanently undeliverable is recorded as failed without retry.
Steps
- Sign in before checkout if you want the report tied to your account email.
- Check the email you type on the payment page character by character.
- Open your order page and compare the masked delivery email.
- Search spam and promotions folders for the report-ready message.
- Use My Reports with the same verified email if the email has not arrived.
What this does not cover
- For privacy the site never shows the checkout email in full, so you confirm it from the masked version only.
- The product has no screen that re-points a paid order's delivery email; a delivery problem goes through the contact page under the refund policy.

Frequently asked questions
Can I sign in with a different email than I paid with?
An account can only claim an order when it matches the verified checkout email. A different account gets an email-mismatch notice, and the secure checkout link still works in the original browser.
Do I need an account to receive the report?
No. Guest checkout is supported. The report-ready email carries the secure link, and the browser you checked out in keeps private access while that access is active.
The email has not arrived. Is the report gone?
No. The report stays reachable from your secure order link and from My Reports. A send that fails for a transient reason is retried automatically on a growing backoff — up to eight attempts by default — before it is recorded as failed; a send rejected as permanently undeliverable is recorded as failed without retry.
