How long can my checkout browser open the report without signing in?
Seven days. Checkout leaves a private access token in that browser and the matching record expires a week later. After that, sign in with the checkout email.

Seven days. Checkout stores a private access token in the browser you paid in, and the matching server-side record is created with a seven-day expiry, so that browser can open the order and its report for a week with no account. After that window, signing in with the same verified email you used at checkout is the way back in.
- The seven days runs from checkout, not from the first time you open the report.
- It is tied to one browser: clearing cookies, switching device or using a different browser ends it early.
- Connecting the purchase to a verified account is the durable path, and it is free.
What the seven days is attached to
Two things have to agree. The browser holds a private, http-only cookie whose maximum age is seven days, and the server holds an access token row created with an expiry of seven days. When either lapses, the order page stops recognising that browser and shows the 'This order is not visible from here' screen instead — which is an access message, not a payment problem.
That browser can hold access to up to twelve orders at once. Buy a thirteenth from the same browser and the oldest entry is pushed out, which is one more reason the account link is the reliable route back.
The path that does not expire in a week
If you were signed in at checkout, the purchase is already attached to your account as long as the payer email matched. If you checked out as a guest, sign in with the same verified email — inside the seven days the order page connects it for you, and after the window it is still matched to your account when you sign in; the in-page claim button itself is what needs the live browser access. Either way the order moves into My Reports, where it no longer depends on that one browser.
The delivery email says the same thing in its 'opening on another device' section: sign in with the verified checkout email, or use the original checkout browser while its temporary private access is active.
What this does not cover
- Once the seven days lapse, that browser can no longer prove access on its own — sign in with the same verified email you used at checkout and the purchase is matched to your account automatically. Contact support only if signing in does not surface it.
- The account must use the same email as the purchase — a different verified address is refused, and the page will not reveal which address was used.
- The current policy does not state a fixed lifetime for report access through a verified account, so do not read the seven days as the life of your report.

Frequently asked questions
What happens on day eight if I never signed in?
That browser stops seeing the order and the page asks you to sign in with the checkout email instead. Your purchase and any unused credits still exist; contact support with the order reference if signing in does not surface them.
Does opening the report reset the seven days?
No. The expiry is set when the access token is created at checkout. Opening, viewing or downloading the report does not extend it.
Why can my phone not open the link my laptop can?
Because the private access lives in the browser that paid, not in the link. Sign in with the same verified checkout email on the phone, and the report opens from My Reports.
